Humanitarian Aid Delivered to Moldova
Soldiers from the North Carolina National Guard recently assisted in the unloading of humanitarian supplies intended for communities in Moldova. The donations were mainly provided by the Holy Cross Episcopal Church located in Tryon, North Carolina.
Community Support for Moldova
This initiative was coordinated with the assistance of retired Colonel Craig Mix and his spouse, Mary Mix. The shipment included an array of essential items such as medical equipment, mobility aids, and educational materials. This effort underscores the ongoing collaboration between military forces, government entities, and local organizations to address humanitarian needs.
Long-Standing Partnership
The donation effort is part of the North Carolina National Guard’s longstanding State Partnership Program with Moldova, which has been in place for three decades. This program aims to enhance mutual cooperation and support between the two regions, demonstrating a commitment to aiding those in need.
