Organizations in the Charlotte area, including businesses, nonprofits, schools, local governments and community groups, are welcome to send us announcements.
How to send it
Email your announcement to editor@thecharlottetribune.com with the subject line “Press release” followed by a short title.
What to include
- Who: the organization and the people involved.
- What: a clear description of the news.
- When and where: dates, times and locations.
- Contact: a name, email address or phone number we can use to follow up.
- Images: only images that you own the rights to or are free to share, with the credit line you would like us to use.
What to expect
We review every announcement, but we cannot guarantee that a press release will be published. We may edit it for clarity and style, and we may check facts with the sender. Organizations that would like guaranteed placement can choose a sponsored article, which is always labeled “Sponsored.” See Advertise With Us.
