Nasa’s Inspiration Tour to Feature Flyover at NFL Game
NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman is set to pilot one of three F-5 fighter jets during a flyover at the New York Jets and Cleveland Browns game on October 11, 2026, in East Rutherford, New Jersey. This event is part of NASA’s ongoing Inspiration Tour, which aims to engage with the public about the agency’s initiatives, particularly its plans for returning to the Moon.
Fan Engagement at the Experience Zone
Before the game, NASA team members will host activities at the Experience Zone located in the Jets Tailgate Zone from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. EDT. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about NASA’s Artemis program under the agency’s specially designed dome. The Experience Zone will also feature interactive games and a chance to take photos with a large inflatable SLS (Space Launch System) rocket.
Media Availability and Tour Highlights
During the NFL game, Isaacman will be available for limited media interviews. Journalists interested in arranging interviews can reach out to Camille Gallo for assistance.
The Inspiration Tour is designed to connect NASA with various stakeholders across academic, industry, and public sectors, reinforcing American leadership in space exploration. The tour will culminate in the MAX POWER event, a public exposition celebrating air and space innovation, scheduled for November 7 and 8 at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. This event is part of the festivities honoring America’s 250th anniversary, and it will showcase next-generation aircraft, spacecraft, and technological advancements shaping the future of transportation.
