Partnership Announcement
The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNC Greensboro) and Guilford Technical Community College (GTCC) have established a memorandum of understanding (MOU) that will facilitate direct admission for GTCC students into UNC Greensboro. This agreement, which was formalized during a signing ceremony at UNC Greensboro, allows students who complete a qualifying associate degree with the necessary grade point average to transition smoothly to the university.
Signatories Reflect Commitment
The signing ceremony featured key representatives from both institutions, including Dr. Beth Pitonzo, Senior Vice President for College and Workforce Instruction at GTCC, and Alan Boyette, Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor at UNC Greensboro. This collaboration underscores a mutual commitment to enhancing educational pathways for students and fostering academic growth within the community.
