Operation Skyfall II Expands Engagement Techniques
The initial phase of Operation Skyfall, conducted in March 2026, successfully demonstrated the AH-64 Apache helicopter’s ability to track and engage targets designated as counter-unmanned aircraft systems, utilizing data received from ground-based air defense sensors. Following this, Operation Skyfall II further developed these capabilities, offering aviation crews enhanced opportunities to detect, engage, and neutralize drone threats effectively.
