Promotional Graphic Unveiled for OHA Annual Meeting 2025
The Organization of American Historians (OHA) has released a promotional graphic highlighting its upcoming Annual Meeting scheduled for October 15-18, 2025, in Atlanta. The design prominently features the city’s iconic elements, including a peach, a plane, the skyline, and a Coca-Cola bottle, all while showcasing “ATL” in large letters.
This year’s theme centers on the intersection of oral history and American identity, reflecting the rich narrative tradition in the United States. The meeting aims to foster discussions and collaborations among historians and scholars in the field.
Looking Ahead to 2027 Annual Meeting
In addition to the 2025 event, the OHA is also preparing for the 2027 Annual Meeting, which will take place in collaboration with the American Folklore Society in Chicago, Illinois, from November 3-6, 2027. This partnership is expected to bring together experts from both organizations to explore further the connections between folklore and historical narratives.
